I'm a patient at Saltcoats group practice, I find the dr's, nursing and reception staff are very approachable and also very helpful!I had to approach the surgery near closing time, due to a family member suddenly taken ill. One of the gp's very kindly made a house call, it's acts like this that I'd be looking for!
Got told 6 weeks for an appointment 2 weeks for an advice call. Should phone NHS 24 to see a doctor. Being new to the practice and it was very unpleasant. Staff where passive, shrugged shoulders and made me feel like a hindrance. Disgusted
