This agency is utterly incompetent. They don't do what they say they are going to do, are full of excuses. Try to blame the tenant. Lied repeatedly to attempt to cover up their mistakes. I happily paid good money to extract myself from the contract with them.I put my trust in them and they let me down badly. The inventory was done poorly and was inaccurate, the contract wasn't updated when it should have been, they lied about the contract start date (by 3 months) and couldn't even calculate the penalty for ending the contract correctly. They also with-held information about going VAT registered until after I had signed the contract with them, even though they knew about this long before. My advice to any landlord or tenant - find another agent and steer well clear of this shambolic set up.
If I could give this lettings agents 0 I would. They are beyond incompetent. Do not use. Ever. 1) Be prepared for sarcastic comments that suggest that you, the customer, are wrong/lying when you ring up to question why your query has not been dealt with. Also, be prepared for moaning about how long they've spent dealing with your case despite the fact it's their job to do so. 2) Any queries/complaints/requests do not get done or dealt with efficiently. If you ring up about something and ask them to do it, it takes many days for anything to actually happen. There seems to be no communication between members of staff and no initiative. If one member of staff is out of the office who originally dealt with your query, other staff members do not use their intiative to help you or complicate matters even further.3) They do not listen to you. They frequently send the incorrect tradesmen out which is a waste of my time and the tradesmen's time. This subsequently delays anything getting resolved by another few days because you have to ring up and deal with the lack of communication and incompetence again. 4) The staff do not take the emergency number policy seriously. They are probably paid to be on call but do not fulfil their responsibilities. We have rung up on a weekend only for our calls to be ignored/phone switched off. On the rare occasion that someone did actually pick up, she used stalling tactics to postpone her having to take any action on that day. We rang up at 2pm and she did not ring back until 4.30pm claiming the tradesmen would not come out after 4. Convenient. 5) They do not keep the tenant/landlords informed. Furthermore, when something goes wrong as a result of Move2's incompetence, they blame the opposing party to who is complaining. This is infuriating and again is deferring their responsibilities as letting agents.
