New it when it was rubbish dump what a brilliant change but council of Saltcoats have let the sandy beaches go into disrepair lWith no funds I remember the sandy nows as when I was a boy many years ago it was brilliant for holiday makers from Glasgow Also was a brilliant time at Glasgow and Paisley holidays
We have been here a few years in a row and it is going downhill unfortunately, the static vans we have had have all been great but the facilities on the park are a bit hit and miss, the activities change with no notice and the chip shop never seems to be open. You also now have to book swimming in advance but can only do this when pool is open and if staff are sat by entrance. The ladies toilets were not very clean and never had toilet paper after about 7.30pm. I heard several complaints about the tourer pitches and shower blocks too. This used to be a good site but not so much now. The kids entertainers were good enough and my kids had fun so not all bad!
Lovely family holiday place. The access to beach is not suitable for pushchairs. You have to go over the railway bridge then over sand dunes to access the beach.
Good family entertainment. Love going to this caravan site. Got everything thing you need and just over the bridge is a nice sand beach
Just left after having an amazingly relaxing holiday at Sandylands. The caravan was beautiful and very clean. I could not have asked for any better especially having 2 dogs along with us. Only downfall was chip shop only opens Friday and Saturday which is no use for people staying Monday to Friday. Overall 10/10 . Will be back next year without a doubt
